To the Orient “Marco Polo's Amazing Journey”
The 2024 Venice Carnival celebrates one of its greatest travellers: Marco Polo.
On the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo's death, on January 8, 1324, the famous traveller is back to his city as a protagonist of the Venetian carnival.
The 2024 Venice Carnival theme is travel, discovery and encounters with previously only imagined worlds.
