Cultural tourism in Venice
During the Christmas season 2023 in Venice all museums will be open. This is a unique opportunity to visit the city's most interesting cultural attractions even on holidays.
We recommend visiting the Gallery of Modern Art at Ca' Pesaro, which hosts the exhibition "The Venetian Portrait of the Nineteenth Century," temporary exhibitions including "Marcel Duchamp and the Seduction of the Copy" at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection Museum, and again, at the Glass Museum "One Hundred Years of Nason-Moretti Glass: History of a Murano Family."
Another not-to-be-missed event we recommend is the fireworks display organized for New Year's Eve in St. Mark's Square: the St. Mark's Basin will light up with a thousand colors to welcome the New Year.
